Following calibration and optimization of three Raman lidar systems performed at the Institute IMAA – CNR of Potenza (one of the reference sites for the network EARLINET -http: //www.earlinet.org), in the second half of December 2014 lidar systems have been installed in the profiling stations of Naples, Lecce and Lamezia Terme, as planned in the Objective 1.2 which provided for the purchase of the three Raman lidar for measuring the aerosol backscatter and extinction coefficients and the ratio of depolarization in the UV.

The Lidar systems operating in Lecce and Naples
